Window and door systems for very modern dental day clinic 🦷

Our window and façade team installed anthracite grey aluminum windows/doors and 14 interior fire protection doors in the 3-storey Lorenz & Schlotmann day clinic with physiotherapy practice in Münster Mecklenbeck. According to the plans of the architectural office Thieken from Dorsten, which we already know from other projects, over 145 elements including window sills and external venetian blinds were installed, which were consistently fixed glazed due to the ventilation system. Only 4 casement windows were used as a second escape route. In an emergency, the sun protection can be operated manually with a hand crank and the fire department can ladder up via a stainless steel square tube designed by us. 🚒

To allow the window sills to run in line with the different widths of the columns between the windows in the red brick façade, we provided window sill reducers in our façade planning.

Our two teams of fitters were able to install the windows on the 1st and 2nd floors both at the factory of the external timber frame builder in Velen and on site on the ground and top floors.

We closed off the vestibule with an automatic sliding door and the main entrance area with a technically sophisticated, automated double-leaf swing door system.
