🛠️ Fitted furniture for Düsseldorf psychosomatic and therapeutic LVR specialist clinic 🏥

Our interior fit-out team fitted 55 rooms with built-in furniture for the Rhineland Regional Council (LVR) as part of a fire protection refurbishment project. Our fitters worked successfully in the empty 3.5-storey old building under the leadership of project manager Hendrik Boing. The planning and design was carried out by the architectural firm kerstin gierse architekten gmbh from Velbert-Langenberg. The architectural office also produced the design drawings and checked and approved our production drawings, after which our joiners processed 580 m² of panels, 5,400 m of plastic edging and over 1,500 door hinges into cabinets in the bench and machine room.

A whole lot of material input! And a lot of thinking! 🧠📐 This is because all the dimensions of the melamine-coated chipboard units had to be based on a specified shelving system that is used for materials/medicines logistics. Door hinges that can be swung out particularly far ensure that the shelving systems can be changed at any time.

Three different room categories had to be fitted out. Closets with light and dark gray fronts were installed in the patient rooms. For the laboratory/treatment and service rooms, square storage compartments for staff and kitchen/laboratory units were installed in addition to the all-purpose cupboards. And most of the seven storage and magazine areas are fitted with ceiling-high built-in cupboards including sliding ladders.

To enhance the quality of stay in the wide corridors, our fitters have installed over 15 large-format photo walls with landscape motifs 🌊. We wish all patients a health-promoting stay and the staff a work-friendly environment!🙂
