Our colleague Sebastian is a product manager in the window construction division. He recently had the opportunity to travel to Uruguay and see the future possibilities offered by the use of Red Grandis wood in window construction. 🤩👏

For your information: Red Grandis is a eucalyptus plant and therefore fast-growing. At the beginning, the seedlings are only 7-8 cm tall – after 25 years, however, the trees reach a height of 50-55 meters. 🌳🌱
Years ago, Uruguay decided to engage in forestry and to use large areas of former cattle pastures for planting. 🌍🍃
